Job description

Bonfire Engineering have a permanent opportunity for a Control Systems Engineer for an exciting project focussed role for our newly retained client.

This unique project focussed role within a growing organisation will support the electrical design function and empower you to have impact on the programming of automation plant inclusive of design, coding, testing, and configuration from a software and systems perspective.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Write and produce completed PLC software and PLC programmes
  • Be responsible for HMI / SCADA configurations and testing
  • Carry out functional testing and customer acceptance process
  • Provide software support to the Commissioning team
  • Define Specification for future plant

Preferred Candidate:

  • Significant demonstrable working experience with Control System Engineering
  • Significant PLC programming using Siemens S7 and TIA Portal
  • Significant HMI programming using WinCC / TIA Portal
  • SCADA programming experience , ideally using WinCC
  • Significant TIA Portal and associate software suite
