Hermitage Day Nursery is looking for a graduate leader to help drive highest standards of early years education! The Nursery is rated Outstanding by Ofsted and is committed to the ongoing training and professional development of our highly skilled and motivated staff team.

Some of the things you will be doing day to day:

Work as a team to ensure the daily running of the nursery;

Ensure that all children attending the nursery are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development;

Appropriately plans learning experience for children and supports other team to do the same;

Build and maintain effective partnerships with parents;

Maintain accurate and up-to-date children’s records

You will be a great fit if you have the following:

An Early Years Qualification (Level 3 or above)

First Aid Certification

Previous experience working with children under 5

Strong knowledge and understanding of children’s development and their needs

Passion and enthusiasm for working with children

The ability to work with others to achieve a common goal

Flexibility to cope with the changing needs of the nursery
