Duties to include:

  • Involvement in planning stimulating activities for the children in your care in line with the EYFS
  • Assisting in delivering a high level of quality childcare maintaining a professional and positive outcome for both children and staff
  • Building effective relationships with children, parents and team members
  • Ensuring each child’s individual needs are met
  • Contributing to the safeguarding of all children

Millers Dene Day Care CIC is located within Walkergate Early Years Centre which also incorporates Walkergate Community School Early Years.

Millers Dene Day Care CIC is a not for profit organisation and has been operating in the community for over 20 Years growing from a small playgroup to a 47 place full day care nursery. We offer places for babies and children aged 3 months to 5 Years Old. We are open 8am-5.30pm, 51 weeks of the year excluding bank holidays.

At Millers Dene Day Care each child is the focus of all our activity and attention. Our work within the centre is part of a network of support, which we give to and receive from parents, families and the community of our area.

Our concern is with the whole child’s social, moral, physical and intellectual development and well being. We provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment in which every child can grow to their full potential and achieve the highest standards.
