An opportunity has arisen to join our Adolescent Team as an Early Help Worker, working intensively with young people aged 11-18 identified as being on the edge of care.

You will be responsible for a caseload of various complexities and work closely with social workers, youth mentors, family support workers and partner agencies to ensure the needs of the young people are met.

Previous experience of working with vulnerable children, young people and families in the public, private or voluntary sector is essential. You will be able to analyse and assess needs and be able to write clear and concise plans..

You must have GCSE’s at Grade 5 or above (or equivalent) including English and Maths, together with an NVQ3 in a relevant field i.e. family work, youth and community, youth justice.

To support a flexible service delivery you must be able to work flexible hours and have access to a vehicle for work purposes.
