SciChem are looking for an E-Commerce Manager to join our team. Whilst we promote flexible working, we believe that this role will be most successful in its delivery with regular attendance to our office in Peterborough.

At its core, SciChem is part of a group of businesses focused on providing practical, integrated and responsive solutions to hospitals and other healthcare settings. SciChem’s focus is to be a global wholesaler of scientific and medical resources into a variety of sectors including Education, Laboratory’s, NHS trusts and other healthcare settings.

What are we looking for in this position?

The E-Commerce Manager will oversee the E-Commerce strategy, and lead on technical development to ensure internal and external development teams are robust, secure, and effective for our customers.

What will you do?

• Developing and controlling delivery of E-Commerce strategy across all digital channels
• Coordinating commercial and strategical activities with the divisions of the business unit
• Control of the budget, the planning, and effective implementation
• Leading technical development alongside internal and external web development teams to ensure robust, secure, and effective experience for company’s customers
• Work with the team to create and implement quality marketing campaigns to increase revenue
• Define and prioritise product roadmaps, enabling agile methodologies and an enhanced User Experience
• Lead customer insights research and CRM analysis to improve the customer experience
• Conduct in-depth analysis of web and customer analytics and optimising the E-Commerce platform in response to your findings

What will you need to have and do?

• Ability to work in, and adapt to, a rapidly changing environment
• Good understanding of the lifecycle of web development projects and marketing campaigns
• Strong experience in coordinating team activities and information flows internally and externally with partners
• To take a hands-on approach to work both in development and continual improvement
• A network of industry contacts to support the development and optimisation of our E-Commerce platforms
• A passionate interest in the Healthcare and Scientific Industries
• Confidentiality in processing sensitive data
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Minimum of 3-5 years of overall Marketing experience
• Experience of delivering high-growth campaigns in a B2B setting
• Relevant marketing qualifications – Degree, CIM or other certificates

Salary: £55,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
