Job Description:

We are currently seeking an ambitious and driven E-commerce Specialist to join our fast-growing company. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective merchandising strategies, managing product listings, and optimizing product content. Working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners, you will ensure our online presence aligns with our business objectives, providing an exceptional user experience and maximizing sales.

This is a brand new position within the company and will give the successful candidate the opportunity to mould the position around them using best industry practices.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute merchandising strategies for our online channels.

- Manage product listings, ensuring accuracy, currency, and competitiveness.

- Monitor inventory levels and maintain stock availability to meet customer demand.

- Create and manage compelling product content, including descriptions, images, and videos.

- Analyze and optimize the performance of digital channels, identifying areas for improvement.

- Collaborate with marketing and sales departments to leverage digital channels effectively for driving sales.

- Enhance the customer experience and implement conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies.

- Stay informed about the latest E-commerce trends and best practices.

- Perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

- Proven experience in E-commerce merchandising.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

- Proficiency in spreadsheet software such as Excel or Google Sheets.

- Basic knowledge of HTML syntax and on-page SEO.

- Experience with E-commerce platforms and marketplaces like Magento,eBay,Amazon,Etsy.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

- Adobe Photoshop skills, along with photography expertise, would be advantageous.

Desired Skills:

- Proficient in designing high-quality, visually appealing designs.

- Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (or similar software).

- Exceptional sense of color, pattern, and style.

- Keen attention to detail.

- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.

- Knowledge of Adobe XD for website design (if applicable).

- Experience in creating online and physical print media, including packaging.

- Familiarity with E-commerce marketing and social media platforms.

- Ability to maintain and update websites on various sales channels, such as Amazon, eBay, and other retailers.

- Knowledge of Magento platform.

- Understanding of Google Business Listings.

- Experience in online advertising and content creation.

- Proficiency in managing a CRM system and email marketing campaigns.

Note: This role encompasses additional skills beyond the primary responsibilities of an e-commerce specialist. These desired skills will be considered as a bonus for candidates who possess them.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £25,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
