Communications and Working Relationships - Approximately 3000 current and previous candidates, assessors and internal verifiers in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and elsewhere as appropriate - NHS England and other national programme central management and implementation staff of all seniorities - Pearson External Verifiers, regional and Head Office Staff - NHS Trusts/organisations, private providers of screening services and independent organisations including employing and self-employed optometric companies - Members of the NHS England and other national boards and committees - University of Gloucestershire personnel and Students Most Challenging Part of the Job 1. Managing needs and requirements for over 1100 current candidates and approximately 500 Assessors and Internal Verifiers in approximately 100 NHS national screening programmes. 2. Dealing with candidates and assessors on potentially difficult, sensitive and confidential matters.

3. Time management to co-ordinate areas of responsibility to meet often very tight deadlines especially when dealing with time-limited on-line examinations, nationally-imposed requirements or impending expiry of registrations
