As a Driver you will be responsible for collecting and packing customer shipments for research samples, clinical trials medicines and other pharmaceutical and health care related products. The role will involve transporting time critical and temperature sensitive consignments, in a safe and timely manner whilst maintaining the highest levels of customer care.

As a Driver you will need to:
  • Act as the face of the company for all shipment collections and deliveries and ensure that customer interactions are always handled in a pro-active and professional manner.
  • Responsible for the preparation and packaging of all specialist packaging and temperature-controlled consignments including ambient packing, refrigerated packing, frozen packing, infectious substances packing and liquid nitrogen ensuring all mandatory procedures are adhered to.
  • Responsible for re-packing and or re-icing shipments where necessary and ensuring all mandatory procedures are adhered to.
  • To ensure the correct documentation is accurately completed and processed with the shipment.
  • To be aware of the regulations covering the transportation, labelling and packaging of hazardous substances and observe and comply with these regulations at all times.
