Position: Driver Debriefer (Days) £21,528 per annum.

Location: Heathfield Industrial Estate, Newton Abbot

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The role of Driver Debriefer for the MJB team would suit someone who is a positive team player with excellent attention to detail and a desire to provide an efficient and accurate service to our customers. The main duties are:

· Conduct daily debrief sessions with drivers, discussing route performance, incidents, and any issues encountered during deliveries.

· Document relevant information, including fuel consumption, vehicle maintenance needs, and driver feedback.

· Provide constructive feedback to drivers, emphasizing safety, efficiency, and customer service.

· Checking the accuracy of returned goods against driver paperwork.

· Manage day to day queries from customers, drivers and other internal departments.

· Dealing with customers attending site.

· Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

· Downloading driver’s tachograph cards and vehicle data from tachographs as required

· Ensuring site security

Essential Requirements

· Ability to apply safe working practices.

· Conscientious, reliable with good attendance and timekeeping

· Honest, trustworthy, able to work unsupervised.

· Flexible and keen to learn and acquire new skills.

· Positive team player

· good MS office knowledge

Hours

  • 36 hours per week
  • Contract Type: Permanent (Full time)

Shift Pattern

· Tuesday to Friday, 12pm to 6pm

· Saturday, 05:00 to finish
