Job Title:Class 1 Driver – Car Transporter Operator (Roaming)
Location:Preston

Overview:

Woodside Motorfreight has a reputation for market leading quality, compliance and efficiency. We are searching for high calibre, professional class 1 drivers to join our team serving the motor industry, including manufacturers, dealer networks and auction houses, throughout the UK & Ireland.

Rates:
Monday – Friday basic - £13 per hour (for first 50 hours guaranteed)
Monday – Friday overtime - £15 per hour
Weekend overtime - £16.50 per hour
Overnight expenses – £28 per night
Performance Related Bonus Scheme

Training:
Full training on transporter equipment and all aspects of the role is provided on a one-on-one basis with one of our Driver Trainers.
The successful candidates will have an appropriate class 1 licence and CPC.

Essential Criteria:
HGV Class C&E (Class 1) license
CPC training completed
Flexibility for weekend overtime

Desirable Criteria:
Previous car transporter experience
Please note the physical nature of the duties of this role require the post holder to have a good level of physical fitness (which will be tested at assessment).

The company operate pre-employment drugs screening testing and any offer of employment made is conditional upon a clear pre-employment drugs screening test.

Please note a Friday is a full and normal working day*
