We have a great opportunity for a reliable and experienced 7.5 tonne Driver to join the team at our Brewers Decorator Centre in Guildford. You will play a vital part in keeping our delivery service running smoothly and efficiently by making contactless deliveries into our stores and to customers across the region.

Due to our industry, we are remaining open and are currently only allowing restricted numbers of customers into our branches. During these unprecedented times we are ensuring that we are observing strict social distancing measures to maintain the protection of all our colleagues and customers.

Our Brewers Decorator Centre in Guildford offers the largest selection of trade and designer paints and decorating sundries in town and we have been successfully serving the local area for over 80 years. The Guildford team is a strong one who between them have many year’s service and industry experience with Brewers between them so it’s no wonder we have built up such a strong customer base and a reputation for being the decorator’s first choice. The branch opening hours are Monday to Friday 7am – 5pm and Saturday 8am – 5pm.

As a Driver for Brewers, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Driving our 7.5 tonne Company vehicle to make contactless multi drop deliveries across our branches in the South Region encompassing stores in Hampshire and Surrey.
• Unload deliveries and ensure stock is distributed throughout the Warehouse
• Keep our Warehouse organised and safe, in line with company standards
• Provide exceptional service to customers to deliver upon our reputation for quality Brewers service
• Build relationships with customers to fully identify their needs and allow us to provide a comprehensive service

Who we are looking for to join our team:

• A reliable driver with a valid licence who has experience driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle and making multi drop deliveries
• Experience driving professionally
• Experience/knowledge of using a digital tachograph
• A Drivers Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) is essential
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Approachable, possessing an open and friendly personality - happy to help both customers and colleagues
• Familiar with the local area
• Enjoys working and supporting a team, but can be relied upon to work as an individual at all times
• Keen to learn and develop skills
