In this role, you will work in a thriving dynamic commercial environment. Driving the key deliverables for our new and existing global customers solutions. Responsible for ensuring the sales team metrics and data analytics demonstrate maximum returns. You will contribute to the success of a team that plays a very strategic and integral part in our business.
As a Drilling Services Commercial Operations Manager - Europe, North Sea and Caspian Region you will be responsible for:
- Having responsibility for marketing and commercial activities that enable the sales organisation to achieve its overall business objectives.
- Being the key liaison between regional and headquarters leadership on marketing, commercial performance monitoring and planning processes.
- Developing your own key role within the sales team, being responsible for all aspects of commercial, marketing and planning related projects.
- Managing KPI’s that are set and utilised within the sales organisation. Tracking commercial intensity for sales effectiveness, productivity and on-target performance.
- Driving commercial excellence in the region, involved in pricing and commercial reviews, for Region, OFS and HQ leadership teams.
- Managing the contract review process and ensuring all contracts are delivered in full commercial compliance.
- Demonstrating an acute awareness of market forces and strategic position at all times.
- Influencing and coaching the sales organisation to remain constantly engaged and deliver on all required deadlines to meet our business objectives.
- Occasional international travel and managing additional projects as required.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have knowledge and experience of marketing and commercial analytics within the energy industry.
- Develop business initiatives, be competent and confident at presenting to leadership at planning meetings, be a solutions provider.
- Tertiary accredited, with the relevant level of sales experience, able to demonstrate good experience of and in commercial excellence.
- Possess a track record of commercial sales and leads that transmits to financial success for the customer and the business.
- Have knowledge of drilling and well construction would be advantageous.
