We have an exciting opportunity at DeepOcean for a Draughtsperson to join our team on a permanent basis, located in our Aberdeen office. As a essential member of the engineering team, you will manage the preparation and timely submission of quality drawing/sketches as agreed with relevant project. You will plan and carry out draughting activities according to company procedures, standards and contract requirements.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
  • Create drawing/sketches to project schedules in a timely manner.
  • Create 3D models and assemblies as required using Inventor.
  • Experienced in the use of AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor & Vault.
  • Prepare story boards sketches as requested by Projects / Tendering Department.
  • Check and comment on project draughting by other draughtspersons.
  • Keep Project Drawing list up to date
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • HNC Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Technichal education as a draughtsperson, Autodesk courses etc.
  • 5 years in industry related role.
  • Experience with subsea structures, sea-fastening, IRM, Field layouts, Deck Layouts, Storyboards etc.
  • Experience with 3D modelling and Aseemblies using AutoCAD or Inventor.
  • Experienced with AutoCAD, Inventor and Vault.
