Job Description

Vector Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Drainage Engineer to join our client in London, a leading Maintenance Services Provider specialising in drainage maintenance services for both domestic and commercial clients.

Responsibilities

  • Attend emergency and reactive call-outs for both commercial and domestic clients.
  • Utilise a variety of techniques and tools, including High Pressure Water Jetting, Core Cleaning, De-Scaling, CCTV Surveys, and Vacuum equipment to address client issues.
  • Conduct excavations and repairs as required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working within the Drainage industry is a must.
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge and competency in all aspects of drainage.
  • Hold a full UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
  • Excellent timekeeping and punctuality.
  • Ability to approach and resolve problems logically.
  • Experience in completing CCTV surveys, preferably using basic plumbing skills.

Desirable

  • CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) certification.
  • First Aid certification.
  • A valid CS1 Confined Space card.
  • High-pressure water jetting card.

Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 8 am - 5 pm.
  • Work 4 nights a month.
  • Work 1 weekend a month.
  • Participate in 1 call-out week every 10 weeks.

Pay And Package

  • Basic salary ranging from 34,000 to 38,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Overtime rates at 1/3 additional pay from Monday to Thursday.
  • Double-time pay on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
  • Fully equipped company vehicle.
