Due to a successful launch in the North of Scotland, we are looking to expand our team to fully support and optimise Aberdeen’s Emergency Drainage & Plumbing requirements. Drain Doctor have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Drainage & Emergency Plumbing Engineer based in Aberdeen.
Job Type:
- Full-time.
- Permanent.
- Monday to Friday (plus weekend rota).

The Role:
- Carrying out all types of drainage work; Rodding, jetting, camera investigations/surveys, soft and hard ground excavations, no-dig repairs (cured in place pipe) etc.
- Carrying out plumbing maintenance and repairs; Toilet repairs syphons/float valves replacements, burst pipes, sink/shower leak, urinals, leaking taps etc.
- Working on both commercial and domestic properties.
- Using mobile tech, (smartphone/tablet) to update jobs.
- Adhering to a high level of customer service and company standards.
- Working alone and as part of a team.
Qualifications, experience & requirements:
- Drainage experience required - must be expert in all aspects of drainage from rodding to patch lining repairs.
- Plumbing experience required - must be competent in basic plumbing including removal and installation of toilets.
- Relevant drainage and/or plumbing qualifications beneficial.
- Groundworks experience beneficial
- Confined space/working at heights tickets beneficial
- Valid full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
- Must be confident and have good communication skills.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
- Trustworthy, punctual and conscientious
- Problem solver attitude
- References from previous drainage employers required.
A basic disclosure check will be required for all successful candidates.

- plumbing or drainage: 4 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence with 6 points or less (required)
