This role is a fixed term contract for maternity cover - offering various shift patterns during weekdays and every other weekend

Who we are:

Buckshaw Retirement Village is a not for profit organisation dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centred care to the individuals who we support.

The Village provides retirement living within distinct communities offering options for ownership and rental in an attractive and well-appointed location.

Chorley Home Care provides care and support to residents in their own homes across Buckshaw Retirement Village.

We are currently looking to expand our team and have vacancies for Home Carers. There is no travel required for this position as all calls are based in one location.

What we’re looking for:

Experience is not essential as we offer a comprehensive induction program that fully prepares you to become a Home Care Worker.

What is important, is that you are caring and compassionate as the role involves helping our residents with all aspects of everyday life. This includes assisting with personal care and hygiene, administering medication and completing domestic tasks.

The ability to work independently, whilst employing good communication skills is a must along with patience, and the ability to treat others with dignity and respect.

Flexibility is essential as shifts are offered on a rota basis to cover early (7am to around 3pm) and evening (3/4pm to around 10pm) shifts.
