Calling all Heating Installation Engineers- build your career in Heating and Renewables with us!

We have an opportunity for an experienced Heating Installation Engineer based in the West Midlands area to join our talented Heating team.

What could you be doing?

You will play an important part of a busy Heating team delivering installation of heating systems and complex heating and hot water systems. You will find every day with us is different, working on partial or complete installations of heating systems; no day will be the same. There is also plenty of opportunity to grow your knowledge of Renewable technology too! It’s a tough task and our expectations are high. In return you’ll have the support of a great team.

We want somebody who can:

A team player, you’ll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You’ll be working in people’s homes, so you’ll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication skills. You’ll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering good customer service.

Some things we need from you:

  • ACS, CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, UHWSS are essential
  • MET1, DAH1, LPG, Oil are desirable
  • Either qualified at NVQ Level 2/ 3 Heating / Plumbing/ Ventilation
  • Knowledge of Renewables would also be desirable
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well with customers and other trades.
  • Experience of working in Social Housing would be an advantage
  • Full driving Licence
  • As you will be working within Customer’s homes this role requires a DBS check.

There is also the opportunity to earn additional from being on the out of hours rota as required.

This role covers an area around Birmingham, Walsall, Coventry and Warwickshire so ideally candidates would live in this area.

  • The advertised salary of £39,722 is based on a base salary for this role of £38,422 per annum with OTE earnings of up to £1,300 per annum achieved from the out of hours on-call allowance and voluntary overtime
