You will be required to work 16 hours per week flexibly Monday – Sunday between 8.00am – 8.00pm; including weekends and Bank Holidays to meet the needs of the care home and that of the service users.

Domestic duties will include:

  • Promoting and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the Home
  • Following cleaning schedules and plans
  • Ensuring safe use and storage of cleaning materials
  • Operating mechanical cleaning aids such as vacuum cleaner, carpet cleaner, decontamination machine in accordance with operating instructions and safety guides

You will need previous cleaning or domestic experience, along with good verbal communication skills, the ability to work on own initiative and also to work effectively as part of a team.

Previous experience of working with people in a residential or health setting is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
