We are looking for TWO ISS Domestic Abuse Practitioners to join our Derbyshire team on a part-time basis, to provide an integrated support service (ISS) to the current or ex partners of domestic abuse perpetrators engaged with our service.

Job Requirements

Support our customers using an evidence-based risk identification checklist, with tailored plans, risk assessment, safety planning, referrals to other agencies and MARACs.

Work in partnership with the prevention practitioners to make sure the customer is safe and foster a family approach to risk, safety, and support while the perpetrator is engaged with the service.

Work alongside partners agencies to make sure the wider needs of customers are understood and met.

Update customer case files and making sure they’re always up to date.

What We’re Looking For

12 months experience of supporting adults with complex needs.

Have completed, working towards or willing to complete SafeLives IDVA qualification or other relevant qualifications.

Someone with a genuine understanding of relationship abuse, who can help to address it from all angles and empower survivors to overcome their past towards a more confident future.

Great communication skills and someone who is able to build a rapport with customers.

A flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of the customer.

Someone who can effectively prioritise their work.

Enhanced DBS check.
