Description

A Document Control Assistant is required for a busy engineering department to provide additional document control resource assisting our Document Controller with issue and receipt of drawings and documentation from/to customers and suppliers. You will be working alongside all disciplines including process and mechanical design engineers, contracts engineers, CAD draughtsmen and administration. The role includes administration support when required.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • document exchange with customers and suppliers
  • production of transmittals and contract documentation
  • compilation of data dossiers and operating manuals (Adobe Acrobat)
  • liaising with customers and suppliers
  • general admin duties including diary management, production of purchase orders, assistance with our sales area (use of Salesforce, quotations, customer set up, etc), checking and processing supplier invoices
  • travel arrangements
  • processing DHL shipments
  • administration of technical services work

  • Must be able to work on your own initiative and with others
  • Ability to consider issues through to resolution and take the required action
  • Strong organisational skills, “can do” attitude
  • Able to work under pressure, meeting deadlines
  • Details oriented, open to learn
  • Good knowledge Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/Teams)
  • Good communication skills
