The Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your professional skills by working with the DTP governance structure to deliver the broadly recognised and innovative EASTBIO DTP programme. Funded for a third time by UKRI BBSRC, EASTBIO recruits 60+ PhD students annually, awards summer placements and provides funded students with strategic training, including professional placements outside academia. The job will give you the opportunity to help us consolidate our successes by coordinating our joint recruitment processes, administering our cross-DTP training events and activities and providing excellent support and guidance to students and supervisors on the programme. Your role will also involve communicating success, outputs, and relevant data within the partnership and our shareholders.
- HNC/HND or equivalent level qualifications plus typically a minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience.
- Committee Servicing.
- Maintenance and design of spreadsheets and/or databases with excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience of event administration.
- Experience with writing text for handbooks, websites, social media.
