Overview:


You’ll lead the Inclusion agenda at the Bank ensuring that our strategies and delivery plans are adding commercial value, creating a great colleague experience and building customer advocacy.


What you’ll be responsible for:


  • Leading the development and delivery of the Bank’s Diversity & Inclusion plans to ensure they support the Bank strategy and build our reputation as a Great Place to Work and socially responsible employer.
  • Leading Executive team and Board engagement on Diversity & Inclusion, providing regular insight, reporting, challenge and thought leadership which ensures they can lead this agenda effectively in their own function.
  • Supporting and shaping our Bank Colleague Networks and Inclusion Council ensuring that they provide value to Tesco Bank and align to our strategy.
  • Working closely with the Colleague Experience team to align the narrative for Diversity and Inclusion with our EVP and to demonstrate Tesco Bank’s genuine commitment and progress ensuring that we are seen to be leaders in this space.
  • Managing the relationship with Tesco Group on all Diversity & Inclusion issues, representing the Bank on all communities of practice and helping in the development of Group wide tools, frameworks, templates and tools to ensure they will work well at the Bank.
  • Benchmarking Tesco Bank’s Diversity and Inclusion work against key industry best practice and external benchmark using feedback to shape action plans to drive change which is implemented across the business.
  • Keeping abreast on external Diversity and Inclusion initiatives, research, legislation and appropriately engaging the business in this.
  • Positively representing Tesco Bank in key Diversity and Inclusion forums and events.

What you’ll bring:


  • Strong experience of the Inclusion agendas and social trends.
  • A confident subject matter expert, with excellent knowledge of Diversity and Inclusion issues in the UK.
  • Confident communicating, influencing and working with stakeholders of all levels of seniority.
  • Experience of workshop facilitation, team facilitation and coaching - face to face and virtually.
  • Creativity, passion and a drive to deliver exceptional results.
