Main duties of the job

An opportunity has arisen for a Band 6, District Nurse Caseload Holder in the Dwyfor area with the Eifionnydd District Nursing Team.

Applications are invited from those who hold the District Nurse Specialist Practitioner Qualification or working towards the qualification. You will be responsible to the Team Leader and accountable for a designated caseload of patients.

Strong leadership and organisational skills are essential with the ability to work in busy, pressured environments whilst ensuring delivery of a high standard of nursing care.

You will be expected to assist in leading a pro-active, multi-skilled District Nursing Team committed to preventing hospital admissions and ensuring delivery of nursing excellence.

You should have evidence of continued professional development.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
