Your Opportunity

Distillery Hosts are at the frontline of our Brand Home. They create a fun vibrant atmosphere as you share your passion of the Brand by hosting our guests around our beautiful site. You will also deliver fully hosted as well as specialized Heritage experiences and any other experiences we develop. Distillery Hosts are also expected to work in all other areas on occasions and there are opportunities to cross train into other areas, including the Bar. Cleaning, replenishing stock and serving guests at the till in the bar are all part of the role. You will work with our tour and event guests during the day, as well as our evening event guests.

You will be required to work weekends.

About You

You will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. You will be a team player who can adapt your way of working depending on the visitor flow each day. You should have exceptional presentation skills that allow you to share your passion for our product with all our consumers.

Responsibilities

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be:
  • Welcoming all guests to site
  • To host and facilitate all our experiences on site.
  • Assist with the training of new starters, including acting as a “buddy”
  • Upselling experiences and other Distillery Events to all Guests.
  • Using the till and cash handling
  • Ensuring that work is carried out following the highest of standards relating to cleanliness, Health & Safety, Social Responsibility and Licensing
  • Delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Working across other departments as required by the Business
  • Any other duties as reasonably requested by a DM/manager.

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • Be comfortable presenting in front of large groups.
  • Experience of working in a busy and physically demanding role.
  • Able to deliver exceptional customer service at all times, even under pressure.
  • Experience of cash handling and using a till.
  • Ability to develop product knowledge and share this with our guests.

  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Team Player
  • Attention to detail and desire to deliver high standards
  • Pro-active and self-motivated.
