Location: DorchesterStarting salary of £35,000, after training will go to £36,000 and further increments increasing to £37,000 after 12 months (Performance based)Do you want a fulfilling role where you can use your knowledge, skills and experience on a day-to-day basis? The company is one of the biggest holders of the PIP contract in the UK.Job Description:As a Disability Assessor you will be responsible for carrying out assessments for the PIP benefit (Personal Independence Payment). There are 2 different roles available-Front and Back Office. Back Office-This is the first stage of the process - carrying out paper-based reviews to gather medical evidence to support the claim and liaising with local GPs and other healthcare professionals. Front Office-Conducting in-depth telephone assessments with the claimant and writing up reports using the information gathered and your clinical knowledge. Essential Requirements Minimum 1 year post qualification experience as one of the following: Nurse, Paramedic, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist.
