Ingenii Search is exclusively partnering with a global pioneer. With approximately 5,000 global employees they have been able to innovate, acquire and grow its market share. They are now on a look out for a Director of Software Engineering. This newly created role due to an internal promotion. You will be responsible with full autonomy of this portfolio. This will include their strategy, implementation and management.

This expansive role will give you the voice and vision in engineering, partnering with the CTO you will be contributing to their YOY growth and continued profit.

About the role:

  • Be responsible for the teams who design, development and implement their solutions.
  • Oversee large scale development projects
  • Leading by influence - You will be required to partner with different stakeholders internally to ensure product are meet the roadmap requirements
  • Learning and integrating new technologies in a cutting-edge environment
  • Strong technical team leadership with variety of levels (30+ FTE’s)

About you:

  • Ideally experience within a fast-paced agile environment (SAFe) but not essential
  • Strong engineering history with experience within microservices infrastructure
  • Be positioned as a leader in DevOps best practices, they require someone who can champion the adoption of agile transformation and DevOps practices.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to be hands off in a leadership context.

They have been able to achieve strong revenues during the pandemic and currently adopt a 3 day / 2 day split of working in the office vs home. This role will also include international travel.
