We seek a creative and collaborative person to work at one of the most beautiful public museums in the UK. You will work closely with the Director, Board of Trustees, staff and stakeholders joining us at an exciting time as we drive forward our ambitious mission and strategies. The Bowes Museum is a dynamic cultural organisation that both supports the people in the North of England and inspires all who visit.

We are looking for someone experienced in developing ambitious public programmes, exhibitions and displays that engage and inspire audiences. We want the successful candidate to bring a passion for participative practices and the skills to create mutually beneficial relationships with artists, educators, community and industry stakeholders. We’re seeking someone who will proactively and openly connect with our communities and audiences, encouraging them to see the Museum as a place for them to enjoy and spend time every week.
