An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Integrated Care system for a Director of Procurement to join the team. Although the role is employed by Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust the role will work across the Humber Coast & Vale Procurement Collaborative supporting our Trust, as well as North Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust and York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The integrated care system has set the objective of creating a single procurement function which will help support the sustainable provision of clinical and non-clinical services. A newly formed Humber Coast & Vale Procurement Collaborative will provide procurement and commercial services to its member organisations, and may extend over time to service other bodies within the integrated care system.

You will work at a senior level as a credible procurement and commercial figurehead, to provide strategic direction and act as a focal point of contact for key stakeholders. The job is to develop a combined service and then to implement and deliver that case for change. You will develop and lead the adoption of the procurement strategy across the ‘HC&V collaborative’ trusts, enabling a commercially focussed, dynamic service to deliver innovative procurement and commercial solutions, achieving social value and significant and sustainable improvements for the collaborative trusts and the patients in our care.
