CLEVERCHEFS are a multi award winning wedding & event company that specialises in creating fantastic foodie events for people.

Focusing on great food, impeccable service and creative ideas.

Due to recent success we are looking for someone to head up the wedding and event side of the business. We caterer for around 1000 events per year which include high end weddings, film & tv location catering and corporate events.

Working closely with some of the countries most high profile venues we are looking for a candidate that has a proven track record managing a similar operation.
The role

You will take control of the entire operations and sales team and be the direct report and point of contact for all clients.
Making sure the team is in the right place at the right time organising the teams and making sure everything is planned to perfection to make sure each and every event is delivered with finesse and excellence.

With bases in Cardiff and Bristol this will be a role that needs to travel and Multi site manage.

You will oversee all strategy and operations.

Purchasing and planning.

Making sure your team are working to set budgets and looking after our stock and logistics.

The ideal candidate

You will have worked in weddings and events for at least the last 3 years.

Ideally within high profile establishments or similar outside catering professionals.

You will be financially astute with a serious eye for figures, pricing and understanding of managing a multi million pound operation.

You will be excellent at time management and logistics and be able to lead a team to success.

A trustworthy individual goes without saying but have an approachable nature which will allow people to be inspired and empowered by their leader.

Working and reporting direct to the founder director you will be able to report at a high level your monthly figures and spends.

You will have superb customer and client management skills. Setting the time for the rest of the operations team.

We need someone who is fully computer literate and has a great knowledge of creative email and an eye for marketing ideas.

You will be very experienced at hiring and managing your own team with a set budget and be able to manage any hr issues that may arise.

This is a very hands on role overseeing a very successful catering operation within the wedding and event industry.
