Ensure full support for all HSE activities as per Company or legislative requirements. Responsible for all aspects of planning, organising and directing of all operational activities of Dumfries site including Quality, Maintenance, MDC, Equipment Engineering, Purchasing, Customer Service, Distribution and Production Personnel. In addition you will work closely with site leads for Information Systems, Finance and Human Resources to achieve operational excellence. Responsible for achieving company production and profit goals, cost reduction programs, goals and customer expectations. Ensure that Gates remains a leader in the industry in terms of having technologically advanced products and providing excellent quality products and customer service.
Must be certain that all operational systems and procedures adhere at all times to ISO 9000 and ISO/TS16949 standards and any other established company or industry quality standards. Maintain compliance with ISO14001, ISO18000, ISO50001, Environmental and Health & Safety accreditation.
You will take responsibility for all control activities where you are the process owner and that are subject to Sarbanes-Oxley Act 404 Compliance: To ensure that the work is performed in line with the documented control activities / To immediately inform the Sarbanes Oxley Co-ordinator if control activities are/become ineffective (due to changes in personnel, responsibilities) / To implement the remediation actions, that are the results of an ineffective control activity, in the agreed time-frame.



Requires Business related Degree ideally supplemented with an Engineering discipline. Should have extensive Manufacturing experience most of which should be in a Senior Managerial capacity and ideally within a Lean Manufacturing environment. Requires fluency in English.
