Salesforce is seeking a Director, Messaging and Engagement to join our UKI Marketing team. Based in London, you will lead the UK and Ireland Marketing Solutions Product Marketing team, working closely with senior leaders across the UKI business, EMEA and Global marketing functions. Building awareness and driving demand for the Salesforce 360 suite of solutions, the role leads defining and crafting our messaging for the UKI market through strategic brand experiences, engagement moments with key customers/prospects and guide the solutions marketing team to build a One Salesforce positioning to the region.

A highly- experienced marketer and business professional, you will engage with senior executives within the business as well as externally in our customers and partners, be an active external speaker and be part of a highly collaborative, cross functional team

Responsibilities
  • Owns messaging and engagement strategies that positions Salesforce as the Trusted Digital Advisor for UK and Ireland
  • Lead the UK and Ireland Solutions product marketing team including senior manager and their direct reports
  • Leads the narrative and content strategy for top identified Strategic accounts to help account teams drive their relationship as a ‘Trusted Digital Advisor’ to our customers and prospects
  • Defines and creates the messaging and content journey for Top Strategic accounts across SIC, ABM and Executive relationships journeys
  • Acts as a content partner to the CEO, UKI to craft narratives and messaging in public profile and customer account engagements
  • Makes the connections between UKI regional narrative and the global corporate positioning and messaging frameworks
  • Proactively support the Solutions teams work with Demand Generation, Brand Experiences and other marketing teams that connects within industry business leaders to build integrated messaging and content
  • Collaborate with the appropriate stakeholder teams across the business to ensure that engagement strategy demonstrates relevant innovation to customer and prospect segments
  • Leads the messaging programming for strategic experience moments for Salesforce and 3rd party events
  • Ensure account teams for Strategic account are following up with key stakeholders to progress relationship/deal
  • Coach and guide UKI executive leadership team on core customer activation and marketing led public engagements
  • Create and evolve a compelling and differentiated corporate message for Salesforce UKI, spanning all products and services and operating units
  • Support the UKI product marketing team in narrative and C360 direction. Leverage the unique skillset and expertise of each PMM to pull in to top customer meetings as needed
Required Skills
  • 10+ years of professional experience in a marketing or customer-facing leadership role
  • Excellence in creating simple, cut-through propositions that translates a complex suite of solutions into fully integrated, customer-centric message
  • Proven track record of managing, inspiring and developing teams and building strong networks of relationships across different functions, levels and skill sets
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and history of working at senior level relationships within and external to the business
  • Ability to work across complex set of solutions, multi-functions, multi-regional organisations
  • Ability to think creatively, identify and solve complex problems that solves for the business as well as the functional area
  • Public speaking excellence, an advantage
  • Highly motivated, detail oriented, and a self-starter with vision
