An overview of the role:

This is an opportunity to join an exciting and fast-growing CIO advisory practice that is spearhead of a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology, and engineering services. We take our clients on a journey from strategy to solutions that:

We seek a Director level candidate to join the team to strengthen our consulting go to market inIT Cost Optimisation. You will be part of the practice leadership team and you’ll help drive our go-to-market plans, growth strategy and shape our offers in this space. You will also be responsible for growing our people, develop our CIO advisory capability and lead sales and delivery work with new and existing clients. You’ll generate new business/sell and deliver in excess of £2m per annum of management consulting work.

Why you?

You’ll bring experience in winning, delivering and leading advisory projects working with CIOs to analyse IT costs in order to design strategies and execute IT cost transformation initiatives within one of more of Financial Services, Government, Utilities, Consumer Products, Retail, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Telecommunication or Media companies.

You will:

• Extensive experience of working as a trusted adviser to CIOs, IT Finance Directors,and CFO’s

• Have expertise in IT cost structures and drivers, cost management, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models and IT recharge models

• Experience of designing and executing IT cost transformation programmes

Whilst you will have London as an office base location, you must be fully flexible in terms of assignment location, as these roles may involve periods of time away from home at short notice.
