Job Description

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

Ownership of the Digital Implementation of P&S Trade Plan

  • Plan, Do, Review Digital Trade Plan Strategy i.e Seasonal, Event and Moments that Matter promotional activity.
  • Work in Tandem with the Digital Marketing Manager to drive a consistent digital look and feel to drive the equity of the Lyreco Brand e.g Carousel, Micro Site Development, Shop in Shops, Taxonomy Development, Product Descriptions, Images, and Search Engine Optimisation .
  • Work closely with the Price & Promotions Manager to ensure the right promotional strategy is implemented to support the wider Corporate, SMB Sales Teams and our Category Strategies.

Ownership & Evolution of our Digital Rate Card

  • Ensure that Lyreco’s Digital Real Estate is sold in full, for each period to maximise revenue.
  • Ensure this happens in line with the overarching P&S Category Strategy.
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing manager to understand and effectively communicate within P&S and to our External Partners commercial opportunities driven by improvements to our Digital Platform.
  • Build a strong internal/external network that ensures the Lyreco Rate Card is Market Leading in terms of content and commercial framework.

Ownership of our Digital Data Packages and Digital Partnerships with key “A” Suppliers

  • Create, generate and maximise the commercial return of recycling Lyreco’s Digital Data through our Gold, Silver and Bronze data packages.
  • Own and evolve our Digital plans with all designated “A” suppliers, working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to “lift and shift” best practice wherever possible.
  • Support the Head of Category to ensure all Digital Data is embedded to drive a Market Leading Digital Strategy within each 9 Box Grid.
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to analyse Google Analytics as part of the Plan, Do, Review continuous improvement of our Digital Platform and plans.

Ownership of efficient spend of all Digital MDF

  • Work closely with each Head of Category, to understand and plan the timely spend of all budgeted MDF monies, to maximise the ROI for Lyreco.

People Management:

  • Whilst this role has no direct reports, there is a requirement to be able to build & maintain strong Group & Local internal and external stakeholder relationships, being brilliant at taking other’s with you, and breaking down barriers in a values led way.

  • You will have a full understanding of the principles of ‘people management’.
  • You will have a thorough understanding of the Digital Landscape with a minimum of 2 years of either e-commerce, Digital Trade Planning or Digital Sales from a B2B, Supplier or FMCG / Retail environment.
  • Shows a willingness to step up and take on more responsibility when the need arises.
  • Demonstrates commitment and motivation to achieve goals and live up to expectations.
  • Displays pride and professionalism and a desire to function well in the job.
  • Commands excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Has the ability to build trust, respect and rapport quickly and at all levels.
  • A natural leader, with excellent negotiation skills, and an ability to win through a team.

Role specific:

  • Understanding of digital marketing platforms and communications, online trade planning and activation.
  • Expertise in planning and managing digital sales enabling campaigns.
  • Deep understanding of the evolving digital world in both demand and supply.
  • You will have an understanding of SEO - Google and Adobe Analytics and online paid advertising.
