This is an exciting time to join the Digital Support Team and play a key role in supporting the implementation of a number of digital services and systems to support the student journey. You will have the opportunity to help us identify areas of improvement, enhance digital content experiences in the student journey, and ensure we follow best practice and meet the required standards. We are looking for someone with a passion for digital communications and a good understanding of digital systems.

The University of South Wales is committed to engaging with students as partners, customer service excellence and outstanding student support. A key contributor in achieving these aims is effective communication between students and the University. The Digital Support Team within Student Services, is responsible for the operational delivery and maintenance of student facing content, including the student portal - UniLife, the University’s digital signage system, and provides systems support of the Enquiry Management System for integrated student support provision. The Digital Support Team work closely with staff across the University to ensure that students have access to up to date and timely information to support them throughout their studies.

Digital Support Officers will have excellent and relevant copy writing, IT and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrable ability to prioritise work, manage multiple demands and work accurately under pressure. The role requires Digital Support Officers to be resilient, flexible, adaptable, pro-active and creative problem-solvers. This role is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to use their experience and expertise in digital communications and content development. The University is currently operating a hybrid-model of working. However, the successful candidate would be expected to work on campus for part of the week. If you are a successful candidate and this position will be your first professional services role at the University (or you are currently employed by PSS Ltd), you will be employed by Professional and Support Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of South Wales, which provides services to the University and Colleges.
