Oodle Cars is a used car retailer (dealership) with a difference. We deliver exceptional customer service and ensure that every customer drives away happy. We understand the need to trust (and enjoy!) the car buying process and our mission is to provide a seamless, hassle free car buying journey. We go as far to say that we don’t sell cars, we support the customer on the car buying journey, and provide an awesome customer experience. Every car we sell comes with a full and comprehensive RAC 82-point check, a 12-month RAC warrant and a full service, recent MOT, valet and sanitisation, and the confidence that there will be no foreseeable additional costs when the car is driven away. We ensure the customer enjoys the journey. Think it can’t get better? The customer can now buy the car of choice online, have it delivered, and have 14 days in which to test the car and return if appropriate.

Intro To The Role

Selling online at Oodle Cars is a digital-based template driven process. Distance (Online) sales mean we don’t physically meet the customer and the sale is based on trust. All information is discussed over the phone and/or by email and then presented to the customer digitally. This is the role of the Digital Sales Coordinator.

The Coordinator will significantly improve the consumer experience, and in turn accelerate the buying process.

There is a sound quality driven job to be done for each Distance Sale and to engage and empathise with the customer. We are public facing and to liaise effectively with our customers we operate, support, and promote flexible working.

Who you’ll be working with and where you’ll be based:

We are a team dedicated to quality and customer service based in Abingdon, just outside Oxford. You’ll be reporting to David Clayton Head of Oodle Cars and working with Commercial Manager, Tracey Andrews. Our Oodle Finance HQ is located at The Oxford Science Park where you may be required to attend meetings from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Operating and developing the companies Distance Selling (online sales).
• Using existing reporting systems to fulfil our obligations to report to our Board of Directors
• Day-to-day liaison with our head office legal and finance teams.
• Developing our Social Media marketing
  

What We Are Looking For

• A proven ability to work with and report using Excel and Word software packages
• A willingness to learn and contribute
• Attention to detail
• Methodical approach
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player
• Preferable to have experience in Customer Service
• Min 5 GSCEs (or equiv) at C level or above, must include Maths and English
