Digital PR & Content Executive

Overview of role: To improve the overall brand reach and awareness of Ability Superstore, with Duke & Co/Made in the Mill to follow.

Do you have a passion for PR? Do you have an interest in social media and keeping ahead of the latest trends? If so, then read on!

The role will include the following:

  • Developing online outreach strategy with the Marketing & Content Manager identifying key targets and communities in print, broadcasting, and online channels.
  • Proactively identify areas of interest in the news/media/social media trends.
  • Write and develop appropriate content to reach identified targets/communities.
  • Establish and build contacts with key media organisations and journalists through a mixture of traditional, digital, and social media channels.
  • Follow up with relevant contacts to ensure coverage and ‘do follow’ backlinks are generated.
  • Amplify our content on social media, and remain up to date with current trends and opportunities.
  • Measure activity and report in monthly meetings.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive media database.

The ideal person for this role will be:

  • Experienced in the world of PR
  • A strong team player with initiative and a positive attitude
  • Buzzing with creative ideas and suggestions
  • Be confident working with all social media channels
  • Have a strong understanding of written English, including accurate spelling
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Be able to work independently and not afraid of working to targets

This job is full-on! The role is incredibly fast-paced and you must have a willingness to work, learn, enjoy writing and be savvy with social media.

Ideally, you will have some experience within this field, have a cheerful disposition and have a sleeves rolled up, “can do” attitude. However, if you can prove you have a passion for PR online marketing and all you need is a break, apply!

The role is a part time position but this could extend into full time depending on how successful you are!
