Position Title: Digital Marketing Coordinator

Location: Greenham Business Park/Remote with travel to Head Office

The role and responsibilities:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our Head Office team to provide professional marketing services across the Roc business. Professional and resilient you will be passionate and driven with the creativity to engage customers and colleagues across multiple platforms to share our story.

We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator with a good understanding of digital marketing, confident and able of telling a joined-up story across multiple platforms and who is focused on driving measurable outcomes. Working with a range of colleagues this role will be an excellent opportunity for someone wishing to widen their communications and marketing experience and develop their career.

On a day to day basis, your main tasks and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Creating creative and compelling content for our websites and social media
  • Developing and coordinating our company-wide intranet, Microsoft Teams channel strategy, and internal news capability, connecting with and inspiring colleagues
  • Assisting with filmmaking, animations and design
  • Supporting and creating campaigns as part of our internal, marketing, public relations, and publicity work
  • Developing and managing our brand assets, collateral and marketing materials
  • Managing out industry award entries and sponsorship
  • Researching, qualifying and building our prospects database and market trends
  • Identifying leads and new business opportunities arising from marketing activity
  • Measuring the effectiveness of all communication activities through analytics, surveys and qualitative methods
  • Working with the Managing Director and communication specialists to further develop Roc’s approach to communications

Competencies and Skills required for the role:

  • Demonstrable experience of working in a busy customer-led organisation, ideally engaging with multiple functions on a day-to-day basis
  • A solid understanding of marketing principles
  • Effective project management skills
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas
  • An understanding of Salesforce or similar CRM system
  • Strong administration and organisational skills
  • Advanced PC skills - including Microsoft Office and Adobe Illustrator
  • Personable, presentable and articulate
  • Proficient in using social media platforms for business use – Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok etc.
  • Experience using paid social media and using analytics to evaluate results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised, they will be analytical with strong attention to detail, able to work to tight timescales in a professional and diligent manner.
