Due to business expansion, a rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital Marketing Assistant to join Lloyd Ltd in our Marketing Department based at our Carlisle Head Office.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will provide support to the Marketing Department through a number of important tasks such as developing our social media presence, completing administration duties, creating digital content and co-ordinating our online presence. This role will provide exposure to a wide range of marketing responsibilities making it the perfect opportunity for an individual to continue developing their career within marketing at a flourishing, local business.

As a Digital Marketing Assistant your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the creation, co-ordination and delivery of online marketing activity across our digital platforms
  • Create and prepare creative content for various platforms, including social media, our website, print and internal communications
  • Support the Marketing Department in implementing marketing strategies and projects
  • Maintain and update our digital content to ensure it is relevant and effective
  • Liaise with stakeholders regarding marketing content
  • Review the success of marketing activities and implement future changes where necessary
  • Support and promote the business at shows, events, and networking opportunities
  • Represent our company values and brands through all content and activities
  • Complete ad-hoc duties to support the Marketing Department and wider business

The ideal Digital Marketing Assistant will hold the following skills and experiences:

  • Experience in a similar role (essential)
  • Awareness of the digital and social landscape (essential)
  • Competent with a range of software systems including Microsoft, WordPress, Hootsuite, Google online resources (AdWords, Analytics and Google My Business), Adobe Packages (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Rush/Pro) (desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Motivated and able to thrive in a high-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and grammar skills
  • Creative and able to develop new, imaginative ideas and content
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential)

Contract Type –Permanent, Full Time

Office Base – Lloyd Ltd Carlisle, Kingstown Broadway, Kingstown Industrial Estate, Carlisle, Cumbria, CA3 0EF

Working Hours –37.5 hours per week working Monday to Friday from 8.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
