Job Summary

As a leading website design and digital marketing agency working with clients across various industries and sectors throughout the UK, we are now looking to recruit a proactive Apprentice Marketing Consultant to join our close-knit team based in Shepshed, Loughborough, ideally with some understanding of marketing and/or website design.

As an Apprentice Marketing Consultant at Lowaire, you will be assisting senior team members with the overall management of client accounts and campaigns whilst tracking progress and results effectively.

As well as this you’ll carry out day to day general administration duties whilst also assisting with marketing calls and emails in order to promote our core digital marketing services to prospects, primarily by telephone & email with the aim of increasing profitability for the business alongside providing high-quality results for our clients.

More specifically the role will consist of:

• Contributing to internal and external marketing strategies and campaigns
• Creation of digital marketing strategies and search-worthy content
• Producing client documents, briefing papers, reports and presentation
• Content creation & curation for digital and print publishing for organic and paid promotions
• The creation and management of engaging social media posts on behalf of clients
• Paid media management i.e. Google Ads, Meta/Facebook Ads
• Providing ongoing search optimisation of client websites in order to rank within search results
• Contacting potential client via phone and email in order to promote our core digital marketing services and to increase brand awareness
• Revising and maintaining office systems, including data management of prospects and clients
• Providing ongoing support to clients via live chat, email, phone, and face to face when required
• Providing receptionist duties on behalf of senior team members and colleagues
• Assisting with the design and creation of responsive websites on behalf of clients
• Working towards set monthly targets and KPI’s in order to develop and progress within your role

An understanding of website design or digital would be beneficial but is not essential as our team can mentor you, however, you will need to be able to learn quickly and converse at a business level with an aptitude to understand business processes.

This role is currently based at our offices in Shepshed, Loughborough and is a full-time office based role however with that said, we are actively looking at moving the business premises to East Leake over the next few months which is on the outskirts of Loughborough and therefore your own transport or the ability to commute via public transport to East Leake daily is essential to apply for this role.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

• Good knowledge of the internet and web-based applications
• Professional and courteous telephone manner
• The ability to converse at a reasonable business level (commercial awareness)
• Team player - able to communicate and work together with teams at various levels
• Excellent communication skills
• Understanding of social media platforms i.e. Facebook, Twitter & Instagram etc
• Some understanding of website design or digital marketing (advantageous)
• Strong computer skills (Word/PowerPoint/Excel)
• Good presentation skills
• 4 x GCSE grade A - C including maths and English or equivalent.

Job Type / Category

The working hours will be 37.5 hours per week, over 5 days (09:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday). However, this may change depending on the business requirements, therefore flexibility is required.

Salary:£10,400.00 per year with incremental salary increases throughout the apprenticeship based on your overall performance and experience within the business.
