The Role:

We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic Apprentice with a keen interest to work as part of a team or own initiative to promote our professional services. The marketing apprentice role is wide ranging which can be from client photography and updating web content one day through research and social media campaigns the next. Working as part of a small team, the ideal candidate is an all rounder able to pick up on ad hoc tasks to support the office and colleagues.

Duties will include:

• Assist in day to day marketing updates, activities and promotions
• Prepare and co-ordinate sales & marketing materials
• Create client case studies using photos, videos, text and project details
• Work on a project researching, evidencing and promoting our environmental and sustainability credentials
• Build and run a schedule of marketing promotion on blogs, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn
• Work with apprentice tutor to complete digital marketing studies and projects and work towards achieving the apprenticeship qualification
• Assist the team with ad hoc tasks such as answering the phone, administration tasks or customer service when required

The Person:

• Keen to learn and self-motivated
• Organised, flexible and prepared to work hard
• Be confident and feel comfortable speaking with existing and potential customers on the telephone, via email and face to face
• Be reliable and disciplined
• Work well within a team and also able to work on own initiative

Skills Required:

• GCSE English and Maths – Grade 4 or higher (or Grades A-C)
• Good written communication skills
• Be numerate with good attention to detail
• Good general IT skills and an interest in social media

The successful candidate will study a L3 Digital Marketer Standard. This will be aided by an assessor who will carry out all assessments as work-based learning within the workplace.

Working Hours and Wage:

37.5 Hours Per Week. Monday-Friday, 9am – 5pm (half day unpaid lunch)

£206.25 Per Week
