Digital Marketing Communications Manager

The Specscart Brand tone is simple, humble, creative and on-point. As our Digital Marketing and Communications manager you must have exceptional marketing knowledge and ability to communicate your ideas to our audience.

You would ensure our message is consistent and engaging with keeping our brand tone of voice. You should have experience and understanding in digital marketing and ability to create and execute informative content, press releases, articles, and media opportunities to share our vision, products, and services.

Desired Experience & Education

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing preferred.
  • Exceptional creative writing skills.
  • Leadership experience to manage content & design team.
  • Work experience as a Brand and Communications Manager, Marketing Manager or similar role in Marketing.
  • Portfolio of brand-building projects.
  • Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix.
  • Experience developing marketing strategies based on market segmentation.
  • Degree in Marketing would be preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive social media presence on all platforms.
  • Brief our creative team about marketing projects they’ll be working on (for example special occasions, email campaigns and advertising banners)
  • Manage email campaigns to maximise the effectiveness of the platform.
  • Work with content team to create website content and optimise landing pages.
  • Assist SEO team with website content and optimisation of landing pages
  • Assist with social media posts, images, videos, and other content related to the company’s brand.
  • Manage our digital marketing efforts across all channels including paid advertising campaigns, SEO, PPC, influencer marketing, events and more.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive website that is easy to navigate for users and search engines alike.

  • Serve as a resource for internal stakeholders as well as external parties to provide advice on best practices for creating content or landing pages.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify best practices in areas such as SEO, social media scheduling, ad copy writing or content creation across all digital channels.
