Digital Manager

LEVEL 3, reports to Senior Digital Manager

The opportunity

An experienced digital professional, the manager will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure we maximise the impact of our digital channels.

Digital Managers will work on a primary portfolio and will also be expected to work on other projects as required and determined by business priorities. Typical portfolios might include:
  • Acquisitions
  • Products and solutions
  • Marketing campaigns i.e., Sustainability, Economics and Growth, Technology and Transformation, Audience Programmes.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the Marketing & Activation team, providing subject matter expertise, ensuring digital channels are maximised and optimised throughout our campaigns.
  • Responsibility for the delivery/activation of the digital elements of BMC programmes
  • Activation of the media & connections strategy across digital channels. Ensure client/potential client journeys are clearly mapped out and optimised at each stage.
  • Work with the Senior Digital Manager to develop strategies to optimise EY.COM that build EY’s voice and reputation in the marketplace.
  • Work with colleagues to ensure EY.COM pages are maintained and meet editorial guidelines. Ensure campaigns operate in line with the firm’s Digital Fast Forward strategy so that EY.COM is an effective marketing platform for the UK firm.
  • Support the Digital Lead to deliver appropriate training for the wider BMC team and other stakeholders, so that there is widespread understanding of EY.COM and digital best practice.
  • Keep up to date with market trends and best practice, championing new ideas, channels, and tools.
  • Work with the Brand, Strategy and Planning team on website measurement and metrics that can be used to optimise performance and improve the client experience.

  • Able to lead, coach and line manage a small team.

To qualify for the role, you must have
  • 7+ years’ Experience in a similar role.
  • Degree in a relevant field or relevant professional qualifications are welcome but not essential as candidates will be assessed first and foremost on experience.
  • Experience of developing ecommerce solutions in a B2B environment, ideally for a cloud, SaaS, fintech company
  • Excellent technical knowledge and experience of website content management, design/builds (preferably Adobe AEM), UX, SEO, analytics and marketing automation.
  • Strong understanding of digital activation of product content and user journeys - with the ability to design, manage and execute social and/or advertising campaigns to meet commercial objectives.
  • Excellent project management capability, with experience in technical requirements gathering and resource planning.
  • Ability to generate quality reporting across digital channels, to create insight and attribution models.
  • Experience of working in large/matrix B2B organisations, balancing multiple stakeholder requirements, and building strong stakeholder relationship.

Ideally, you’ll also have
  • Experience working with digital agencies
  • Line management
