Working hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday. 9am – 5pm (with occasional weekend work to meet business demands)

Salary: up to £28k pa DOE

Oatein looking for a Digital Communications Manager to join their growing marketing team.

Responsible for the management of responsible for the alignment and delivery of marketing campaigns through all digital channels. You will manage the B2C planning and delivery working of Oateins social and email channels to align messaging and commercial activity through digital content and a considered user journey. You will have B2C marketing experience and understand how to implement a successful brand marketing campaign through each consumer touch point. This includes content creation, copywriting and developing guidance materials.

The Digital Communications Manager will be also responsible for developing and delivering our influencer programme to drive brand awareness, traffic and revenue via our influencer channels and affiliate programmes.

The ideal candidate will be both creative and commercially minded, work well under pressure, and understand the complex needs of a growing business.

The Digital Communications Manager needs solid understanding of the digital communications landscape and with the agility to react to changes quickly and effectively.
Duties

Working with the Marketing Manager and the wider marketing team, this role will be responsible for delivering on our current digital communications approach, but also leading on innovation and creating compelling ideas to enhance and drive our Marketing and Communications strategy forward.

Plan and implement a robust digital content calendar to deliver brand marketing campaigns to provide the consumer with the best experience of the brand on our own channels.

Manage all aspects of the businesses social channels including (but not limited to) Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat, Pinterest, Tik Tok and any emerging platforms.

Be the voice of our brand to influencers and provide innovative ways to gain recognition on other people’s platforms and using them effectively to drive traffic, engagement and credibility to our brand channels.

Develop and deliver an impactful and measured global and market relevant influencer strategy ensuring we are utilising influencers, celebrities and content creators of all levels to enhance our communications and story-telling capability.

Manage all customer email communications to build out content opportunities and shape the consumers brand experience and grow customer database. Work with Customer Service team in relation to community management of all channels.

Issue a monthly Social Media and Influencer report and Email Report to present back to the rest of the business on results, providing social statistics and commercial ROI.

Provide specific KPIs and measurement against affiliate activity to show value in investing in the Affiliate Programme.

Utilise social media listening to inform content and report to wider business on engagement performance.

Devise bespoke product launch collaborations and execute them and feedback on performance.

Lead in innovation, staying ahead of digital technologies and trends; conceptualising and implementing reactive campaigns utilising new developments when appropriate.

Stay abreast of competitor brand activity, reporting back to business on all social developments and advising on new brands / trends to inform Commercial and Marketing direction.

Be a leading player in creating an innovative team environment within marketing and in particular brand, by being an active member on campaigns and development of promotional events.

Be able to support a growing teams workflow and aid their training and development.

Skills / Qualifications:

Essential:

  • 2.1 Degree in marketing, business or media related studies
  • At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar digitally focused role
  • Experience in organic social media including audience and channel targeting
  • Experience of creating influencer programmes that drive online revenue
  • Experience with social media listening and scheduling tools
  • Experience with email marketing tools and software
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Assertive and proactive
  • Excellent communications and influencing skills
  • A strong understanding of the commercial link to social media
  • Familiar with GPDR regulations and automation tactics onsite and in email.
  • Knowledge of Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook 365 and Google Analytics

Desirable:

  • Experience using Social Media Management software, third-party Affiliate Marketing programmes
  • Experience using Magento e-Commerce system
  • A good understanding of and passion for the sports nutrition and supplements industry
