Title: Dev/Ops Lead Division: Information Technology Contract Position based at: Primarily Work from Home with some requirement to attend Whitley/Solihull/Gaydon sites. Length of Contract: 6 Months Rate of Pay: £607.52 per day Position Description: As a DevOps Lead you will have the following key responsibilities: Manage and coordinate the technical delivery and change management for the prioritised back log including legal and mandatory, business critical and continuous improvement initiatives for the End to end business process (including Payroll and Time & Attendance). Overseeing, planning and managing day-to-day operations such as technical upgrades, maintenance, incident and problem resolution alongside developing the long term strategic product roadmap in collaboration with our suppliers and technology partners. Lead conversations with the HR & Payroll IT product team as part of the wider Corporate Services IT domain, working closely with the Payroll & HR department and technical experts from the Enterprise IT teams such as Security, Infrastructure and Service Delivery. Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience Strong IT background Experience with modern DevOps including CI/CD tools and techniques Dev/Ops knowledge & experience Possess strong analytical skills to make sense of complex and logical problems quickly. Knowledge of the ITIL framework as well as a high level of IT technical competence. Strong and clear communicator with stakeholders at different levels of seniority and knowledge. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Collaborative skills - being open to pair programming and working closely with engineers in cross functional teams Good automation skills, including experience with unit testing and automated testing tools Preferred: Understand the business terminology to further advise performance and functional requirements and convert into technical architecture. Knowledgeable about the Kronos/Zellis/SAP IT product(s) including development and configuration, its users and industry Knowledge about the Hire to Retire End to End Process Any knowledge of Workforce Central, ResourceLink, SAP, technical background an advantage Additional Information:
