We are looking for someone to manage our release pipeline including driving the DevOps process and co-ordinating between team members to ensure we are promoting the right code to live at the right time.

To be effective your time will be split across Release Management and technical activities. You will be supported by an experienced delivery team including Delivery Lead, Test Lead and Tech Lead.

Release Management tasks:

  • Track and co-ordinate release cycles/content across teams and conduct live release Go / No Go reviews.
  • Escalate risks, impacts and issues relating to the release pipeline and manage resolutions to completion
  • Generate and disseminate templated release comms to relevant stakeholders.

    • Technical tasks:

    • Define the branching strategy. and identify/communicate the impacts of branches and code merges
    • Manage and perform deployment builds and releases (apply semantic versioning).
    • Monitor status /progress of outstanding PRs to identify and support activity to complete.
    • Update ticket states through deployment gateways
    • Produce Run Books as appropriate
    • Environment Setup e.g. configuration, data refresh
