As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining the deployment pipelines, automating processes, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous integration, continuous delivery, and cloud infrastructure management using the latest DevOps practices.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps tools to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.

Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of software releases.

Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure on Azure, optimizing performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployment, configuration, and infrastructure.

Implement and maintain security best practices for cloud environments and applications.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps, cloud computing, and automation.

Participate in on-call rotation for addressing critical system incidents.

Contribute to the documentation of processes, procedures, and architecture.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.

Strong expertise in Azure cloud services and Azure DevOps tools.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.

Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation.

Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools.

Knowledge of source control systems like Git.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams.

Salary: £33,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
