Senior DevOps Engineer - Remote - Up to £80,000

A Senior DevOps Engineer is required to join a pioneering software house in Wantage. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior DevOps Engineer looking to work in a varied technological environment, within this rapidly expanding business.

The Role

The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for deploying and managing multiple environments, working within a CI/CD environment. The company have a mixed environment, which is predominantly AWS with some Azure cloud, as well as Linux and Windows servers. The Senior DevOps Engineer will be leading a small team of DevOps Engineers and take overall responsibility for strategy and day to day management of the team.

The Senior DevOps Engineer will be joining a software house that develop a variety of market-leading software solutions used by the emergency services and military, applications that have had an enormous impact on society and genuinely saves lives. The company have grown substantially over the last few years and are set to grow even further!

What’s required of the Senior DevOps Engineer?

  • Excellent understanding of CI/CD principles
  • Cloud experience – either AWS or Azure
  • Server support experience – either Linux or Windows
  • Experience of automation
  • Configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform)
