Dev Ops Engineer
About our Team
Joining a collaborative team mid-way through our multi-year DevOps journey. We partner with Digital Business Solutions development teams and underpin their success through engineering and operational best practice. We deliver reliable and resilient AWS infrastructure and are expanding our automated CI/CD delivery pipelines to empower the developers we partner with.
About the Role
Shape our next phase of Enterprise infrastructure transformation. Working at scale with the latest DevOps tooling you will have the chance to build infrastructure that supports our applications and seek opportunities for automaton and improvement.
Responsibilities
  • Deploying and supporting Cloud based solutions to meet business and compliance requirements
  • Developing and improving infrastructure automation
  • Design, development, release and deployment of AWS infrastructure and applications, using CI/CD
  • Working with Development teams and like minded DevOps engineers using an Agile framework
  • Seeking and implementing efficiencies to erase toil to allow more focus on project work and lasting improvements
Requirements
  • Be able to demonstrate experience of 24 x 7 operational support of cloud based services
  • Experience of managing Cloud infrastructure using some sort of IAC tool (We like Terraform, Anisble, Puppet and Jenkins but if you have used something else then we can help you cross train!)
  • Understanding modern software delivery techniques such as Agile, CI/CD, GIT, Jira
  • Creative problem solving!
  • Desire to drive own development and learning
