Job Description This is a great opportunity to join a team who is passionate about giving customers the best delivery and collection proposition when shopping our General Merchandise and Tu clothing ranges. More about the role: Project management: Manage initiatives that improve our proposition and help to optimise our final mile operation, working cross-functionally with the team to define, trial and ultimately roll out solutions. Explore opportunities: Work with the team to id entify opportunities to improve the proposition and unlock efficiencies in our final mile operation, to drive sales and reduce our cost to serve. Problem solving: Take a positive approach to overcoming obstacles to find solutions that support our goals Financial impact: Understand the financial impact of the initiatives we are developing, whether that’s the potential to increase sales and conversion, or reduce cost by making our operation more efficient. Change impact : Assess the broader impact of the initiatives we are developing and how they may affect other functions, understanding how we can successfully land sustainable change. Drive delivery - Ensure initiatives are delivered at pace, tracking progress, identifying and mitigating risks, providing project updates, managing financial impacts and keeping stakeholders informed/engaged. Collaborative working: Work collaboratively with other teams and in partnership with the operational teams to drive development at pace. Leadership : Driving the delivery of projects using strong communication, flexibility and the right balance between driving the project and taking people with you, exhibiting our values and agilities . More about you: Customer focused with experience of putting the customer at the heart of a solution Change mindset and problem-solving abilities to be able to deliver improvements within fulfilment (home delivery and store collection) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong numerical ability to work with the teams to understand the potential impact and actual impact of a change to the proposition and/or the operation to support robust data-driven decision making Understand and successfully manage diverse business relationships, comfortable working in a matrix organisation Able to think differently: A rounded skill set enabling you to see a proposition, question or challenge from every angle (customer, competitor, market, commercial, operational) allowing you to identify business improvements opportunities which will benefit the customer, sales, operating model and profit A strong focus on delivering a great experience for our customers Financial and commercial acumen, able to understand cost and margin drivers within the business and impact of any proposed changes A flexible thinker allowing you to approach a problem from a quantitative or qualitative position to help to build compelling business cases underpinned by insightful arguments Able to drive change in our business: Comfortable using a variety of styles to either influence other teams to prioritise solutions to issues or to fully manage an initiative from idea inception through to project delivery.
