Responsibilities & Deliverables
  • Produce software that meets pre-defined requirements and quality standards.
  • Design, develop and implement high-quality, testable code.
  • Support, maintain and document software functionality.
  • Work to defined project plans and timescales in a fast paced environment.
  • Make independent decisions on the technologies and approaches to be used for each task.
  • Contribute to high-level system design discussions and understand the product and technologies used.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand and resolve software problems independently with minimal supervision.
  • Participate in the conception, design and implementation of modern web-applications for financial messaging.
  • Be an active team player in an Agile development environment.

Required Experience
  • Education to degree level in Computer Science or other technical related field.
  • The ideal candidate should typically have 3+ years professional experience in software development, or equivalent capabilities.
  • Skilled in some or all of the key technologies used; Python, Django, JavaScript (jQuery, Vue.js), MySQL, Linux, SVN.
  • Ability to work as a full stack developer using a range of technologies; skilled with front end languages (HTML, CSS).
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies, processes and tools.
  • Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Effective organizational, communication and reporting skills with attention to detail.
  • Nice to have experience with payment systems or banking/financial services domain experience.
